Well here's my sick little story of the past couple of weeks... Where do I begin?
So there I was... Thanks Giving was.... well..... interesting with everyone at my house. My mom & dad, my sister and family, and then of course Da other mommy.... In the mist of it all I was asked to plan Christmas partie(s) yes I meant it to be plural. Then there was cookies to be made for the light parade (no I did not make them we store bought them..) And on top of it all I started this annoying fever with chill's on Thursday the 4th and quiet frankly it was hell... So I sucked it up and went on about my business. We executed the ward Christmas party on Friday with a great cheer and when I say we, I actually mean me and Martin's. Clean up was fast with our happy kitchen helper so thanks so much Mrs. Reeve... You saved my butt that night. Then off to sleep I thought I was, but oh how wrong I ended up being.. more yes more fever and chill's with a sore throat now and a blister or two. At first I thought I must have strep oh great! Now what? But again I was wrong and later I'll wished that I was right.
So Saturday came and with it the Lions Club party. We cooked, we decorated, and listened to Lance's happy tunes. Soon the night was over and eat we did do, but with much great pain came with every bit we chewed. So Sunday came with no rest in sight, we headed off to Cortez to buy some cookies for the next night. Monday came and I could take no more. My mouth had grown bigger with some nasty little sores. Now I've never had a cold sore, but I have had a canker or two. So when I realized I wasn't eating, and drinking had become a novelty too I loaded up the truck and off to the doctors we went too. For my present this year I found out that we all had. Hand Foot and Mouth Disease! Now doesn't it sound so rad? Its supposed to past in a week or two...... but will see about that.... Now as I was reading I found out to my great disgust that it is past through nose and throat secretions, saliva, blister fluid, and stool of the infected persons. So to the person(s) who are responsible for gifting us this disease thanks a lot ass hole I'd like to show you my throat and maybe shake your hand!
So the actual moral to the story... This is a kid disease that I obviously never got when I was under 10 Brandon too (if you want to know more check out www.cdc.gov) and for all you parents out there..... wash your kids hands, use antibacterial spray/wipes and if your child has it please keep them away from others! And if your an adult with this disease, shame on you for not washing your hands and sneezing and coughing on some poor women.....
