This was the last thing I thought of when I said "blog flogging"

Hmm deep thoughts....

Well I realize that in some sort of cosmic way I was asking for it when I said I needed a "blog flogging" how ever I'm not usually one to reply to any type of "tagging", "chain letter/e-mail", or vs. verse of "tagging" others. However I do believe that I asked for it. So here are the rules its supposed to be 6 things about "myself" that you might not of otherwise known. I realize that there are some out there that will already know some of these things so no whining about it please or I'll tag you and expect a response and hound you like the dirty dog I am........

I have been tagged by my friend JP. Here are the rules...

1. Link to the person who tagged you.

2. Post the rules on your blog.

3. Write six random things about yourself.

4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.

5. Let each person know they were tagged and leave a comment on their blog

6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

So here are "My Things"......

1. I've been told that I "keep" my house immaculate. However I began to ponder this one and discovered why its clean not immaculate and I've now realized I am a retentive kind of person. Here's the story.......

Husband cooks breakfast and cleans up.... I come into the kitchen and make the rudest of comments... "no wonder the sink at your moms house leaks" as I wipe up all the water that was left around the sink. Later he tells me I'm not nice. And if I want help to not complain. My reply well if you leave the water around the sink it will eventually leak, then it will ruin what's under the sink and eventually it will make its way down to the floor where it will get under the purgo and make it wet which will ruin it. I looked at the "trickle" effect as I called it. Which I do a lot of.... So my house might be "clean" because I'm almost always looking for something going wrong with it. Or the cause and effect mode. Maybe its out of boredom, maybe its just being a little too anal about things?

2. Now no one should take offense to this one, but it has to be said. I'd rather spend my time with just my husband. No that's not a cut on my kids or friends, its just the plain old truth. As most people have most likely notice we actually don't do a lot with out each other. So if were both invited were more game to do it, however we have been known to ditch out for each others company.

3. I'm sure you've heard this one before.... I'd rather be some where else. It might be camping on the mountain, or a day trip to Colorado, either way I'd rather be there then here. Brandon recently brought up what we should do for our 5 year anniversary this year and he gave me two choices. Now normally I would have chosen the just him option. However he through in a trip to Oregon with the family. So if there's anything I like its Oregon and its coastal wonders. So of course I chose the Oregon trip, to bad we have to wait till September.

4. I'm not a tree hugger, however I really miss my old job.... Not that being a stay at home mom isn't interestingly challenging at times. However I really like the Park Service, maybe not all the people, but I did like the job. I miss the living in the middle of a natural wonder that others pay to visit. I miss the hiking, the driving, medical emergencies, the high cliff rescues, the back country rescues, heck I even miss the one marijuana garden raid I did once. I even miss writing tickets to over zealous park guests that didn't realize there were real federal agents that had the power to write tickets in a Park. It was a great job and a great location with great pay it was great great great! The bonus was the fire arm you carried.

5. I'm really a crafty creative person. I really enjoy doing crafts and other things, I pull ideas out of catalogs, stores, off the Internet. I try to see if its possible to recreate something from nothing. So I go dumpster diving a lot to get supplies (thanks to the house's being built in Monticello this has been made possible).

I also really like to make desserts (cookies) but I'm not much of an eater, so I give them away a lot of the time. (and no there has been no dumpster diving to create my cookies.)

6. I could write a book... I come up with these story lines and plots that I think would be interesting and I run them by Brandon all the time. The problem is the kids. I'm still trying to figure out how to do my crafts and cook with them around. Its harder to multi task with them than I would have ever imagined. Constantly a drain on my train of thoughts and the crying doesn't help either, heck for just one blog entry it takes half a day. So typing up the book and keeping it all on the same train of thought isn't really possible right now, but maybe when the kids are a little older....

I am so glad you left a comment on my blog. I love getting your fams Christmas cards. You will be getting one from us soon hopefully. I had them made and I procrastinated and didn't get them out before Christmas, but since I'm cheap I am still going to send them out because I paid for them.

You guys are so much fun. I am so happy to read you will be coming to Oregon in September. We have to have a get together with all the people you want to see.

I love blogging and how nice it is to keep up with friends and see what they are up to. I am excited to be able to see what you guys are doing. Your boys are the cutest ever. What a cut family. It must be challenging having them so close together. I see why writing a book might be difficult.
