And now for bed time.... They like to play with Brandon and tonight was no exception.. They played a little game of off with his head!

I'm not sure if you could say that I got a late start to the evening yesterday or an early start this morning... Gavin last night just wouldn't go to bed. It was around 10:30 when the little guy finally went into a slumber. Then this morning he woke up at 5am! I thought I was going to die! I had stayed up late to pack the trailer for the Oregon trip so I didn't go to bed till about 1230, I was like what a way to start a birthday.
It turned out okay. I got the house cleaned, ribs smoked, cake made, laundry done, holes patched, animals taken care of, oh and about a million other things that you do before you leave to go places and oddly enough it wasn't rewarding, just seemed like the ever daunting tasks that never end... Sad really.... Not much joy in cleaning I guess... So anyway its over and the kids are down, I'm doing this now because well I don't have any other time left.

Sounds like a fun Birthday (for him not you.) Sometimes my little girl pulls that up late at night and up super early garbage, I no like that. Can't wait to see you!
