Our great adventures....

I hope everyone had a good holiday. Ours got off to an interesting start. On Friday my cousin's were supposed to come down from Logan for our annual camping trip up at Pine Flat (Seventies) only we got a phone call that they wouldn't be able to make it. Lucky as the story would have it, no one was hurt but they rolled their truck 5 times just South of Wellington. Every thing all of the camping gear, truck, trailer, four-wheeler, Rhino, and pop-up camper (yes they were indeed loaded to the max) were completely totaled, but my cuz, his wife, and three kids walked away. I still have a hard time imagining an accident of that magnitude and having people walk away but it does happen. My other cousin Lucy Tracy said she came up on the accident and said it was absolutely horrifying to see it, so it must of been pretty messy.

Well onto happier things.... My sister and her family made it down for all festivities, not that we actually did much, but hey it was fun... For at least the cousin's to hang out.

So the moral of the story, if you don't buckle up you could die! Remember the car seats must be buckled into a vehicle in order to make it safe for the child! My cousin for the first time since having children actually attached the car seats with seat belts, its amazing that he did!

And they lived!
