Who says I don't have the prettiest prince(sses) around?

So the other night as Brandon was relaxing on the floor. Gavin decided his daddy would make a great bed.... So he got his bottle (arug!) and blanket and proceeded to lay on top of daddy's back... So cute I had to take a picture...

Gavin was a little camera shy once he realized I was taking pictures of him...

Okay here is the project: CHRISTMAS
The problem? Well I really don't have money, or patience for shopping for everyone. Its just not in me. I forget people when I go to the store and always end up with stuff that I wonder what I was thinking? By the end of the whole ordeal I'm usually broke and very frustrated! So I started to make things instead. Its fairly therapeutic, time consuming (not really a plus by the way), and a lot cheaper (if you know the craftie secrets). In the end I know no matter what I've made I've put enough thought into the process to give everyone (at least in the family) something that they will use and like. My only regret is that last year I didn't take pictures of the things I made... So any family out there that got something from me last year should take a picture and e-mail so I have for my archive.
So here is the very 1st ever fairy-princess dress-up dress.. I have two nieces and I now how much they like to dress up and play "pretend" so rather than spending a butt load on cheaply made outfits, I made my own complete with head band and coming soon wand.

So you may have wondered about my title? Well here's the picture to prove my prince(sses) are just as cute as the next... hee hee hee

Really what happened was that Austin here hit Gavin in the head with the train set, so after time out I told him his punishment was that he had to try on the skirt so I could see if it was about the right length for Shaylee, I think it will work well for her. So anyway after I got done Gavin didn't think it was fair and so he had to put it on too... If you look at Austin's face he was actually less than pleased with me, but I told him to smile anyway...

So if anyone is interested in making one or two for their own kids. We could get together and I could show you what I did. I still need to make another one for my other niece so I'll be making a trip over to Cortez sometime before Christmas to get more netting, we could have some fun.....
