So I've been debating for a while on if I should share my news on my blog and I've finally decided that there are a few I haven't communicated with lately and since saying it on the phone or in person sometimes is too challenging I'll share.
Things in our household are what seems to be upside down right now. Unfortunately my last post was just before we got some very unsettling news. Brandon no longer works for Wells Fargo. On Valentines we received the most dreaded of all calls that he was to meet his boss at the Bank in the morning. Now if I can back up a bit Brandon applied for a job up in Moab after one of his coworkers took a job down in Blanding. To make matters even more awkward we had just purchased a car thinking that Brandon was a shoe-in candidate for the position and in our forward thinking we knew he'd need a car for the travel. Well he was called to Price one day and thinking it was the interview went with high hopes. Unfortunately he called me on his way home to tell me it was an investigation. I won't give details on the subject of what he was investigated for, but I will tell you he was told he did nothing wrong by all of his bosses and yes boss is plural for good reason and that the investigator of the State of Utah said he did nothing wrong.
So the call on Valentines day was one of the most depressing moments in our life together. We knew what it was and that entire night neither of us could sleep. The next day his boss read an e-mail off of his Blackberry telling Brandon that the HR lady decided that he was terminated.
To our knowledge Brandon has still done nothing wrong, but his personal file was blocked by the same HR lady and Brandon was told that Wells Fargo doesn't give out that information without a court order.
So in a nutshell I'm wondering why things like this happen to people that work their butt off for the corporate giants of the world and in the end get the boot? Seems a bit unfair and honestly disheartening to know he's more than likely not the only one.
So to our forward thinking from here we can only move on and if anyone knows someone in the market for a house in good ol' Monticello please let us know, we really need to sell ours...

Heather I'm so sorry! How far are you from Price? My friend just moved there and they are looking for a house. That is awful what happened, and I hope everything turns around for you guys soon.
I am so so so sorry to hear this news. Breaks my heart for you guys. I hope that something comes up to help you out either a new job or the house sells fast. You are great people and you deserve great things! If I can do anything at all for you guys, please let me know.
What a bummer! Sometimes bad things happen and in the end they are a blessing. Hope all turns out well for you guys.
