So I've been wondering why I don't update this anymore then I remember I have face book and this is kind of one of those things that is in the far back of my mind these days, but here goes nothing.... Maybe even literally?
Brandon is off again searching for jobs. "Frustrating" to say the least... He's been working hard looking and almost forcing his way into companies to interview him. Its funny, but most jobs he applies for are "already taken" so to speak. Sorta like they already hired someone, but have to post and may even interview a few people before telling him the job was long gone. So "frustrating" comes to mind. However on a good note since he figured this one out he's been going into to companies and talking the the CEO or whoever and introducing himself. So far off of this he's gotten 4 interviews for jobs that aren't posted yet. So maybe it might increase his chances somewhat? Then again?????
Today he is in Portland Oregon, tomorrow he may be possibly heading home. Its funny the things you go through to look/find a job, I would have never imagined the challenges that we've had to face. However here we are plugging along, hoping it will work out. Who knows maybe even around Christmas?
As for me, my work is fine still going strong which is a blessing. I entered a weight loss competition at work and the prize is CASH! I'm excited. Although I may not look like I've lost much, I'm about to hit the 40lbs mark any day now. If I keep on track I might even make my goal by the 7th... Now ultimately I just need to keep it off, after all it was the baby weight that I didn't want to loss because I always deep down inside wanted one more, but since Brandon's job loss and no insurance it kind of made that one disappear and now I'm not so sure anymore....
Well anyway If Brandon gets a job I'll post again, if not this may be it for a while. I'm not really in the mood to continue such a downer blog...
