Exploration time!

So its been on again off again raining here, which in comparison to back home where I read the other day they got nine inches of snow I'd say I'm pretty happy that I can walk outside with out my coat on and not freeze. Its just lovely, even if it happens to be raining, at least its not cold!

So we have been doing a little exploration thanks to a new friend that has given me ideas of places to go here. So thanks Brenda! Who now lives in Monticello, enjoy that snow! I don't miss it at all!!!

So we went on this hike a very easy hike to Shellburg Falls, its close to us only about a 15 minute drive and then a short hike (if you only hike to the first set of falls). This hike is one that I can't wait to take my sister on when they come to visit, its one that even Phil could handle! So Melissa be prepared, you and Phil and the kids are going to hike this one! It was so pretty and lucky us it didn't even rain!

Some of the picture's below have a little snow in them, because we went up to Detroit Dam to do a little fishing and exploring, it was just beautiful! I'm sure enjoying the nature around here and can't wait to explore more.
