Learning the key to speaking your mind....

Now I know my title sounds a little intimidating for a few of you out there and for others its nothing you haven't been doing already. However I feel it is important that people understand me and why I speak my mind and hey it may help some of you, who have always wished they were brave enough to do it...

First thing you should know about saying what you want to. It has nothing to do with being brave. Believe me when I say there is nothing brave about it. Its almost like taking a rubber stamp to the forehead saying here's the target! What you really need to know about yourself is weather you can take the hit back, again and again. Once you start with speaking your mind all else is pretty much lost. You'll find it harder to sugar coat things, or even lie. And sometimes telling the truth isn't always the best thing. In reality it hurts most people. Only a few have enough callouses to take it. I have plenty of those...... callouses that is....

Anyway the point to this? Well its a bit of rambling I must admit, however there is one thing that took me a long time to learn and here it is....

Don't I mean DO NOT be the first one to start it. Stay calm take a few shots and if the person doesn't let up (or goes PETA on you, or just plain old psychotic) then by all means its free game. So start playing and show them what they're doing. If they can't take it? Then they shouldn't be giving it out in the first place.... That's my philosophy and it has worked fairly well, until the crap kept coming.... Then I had to blog about. Oh and if you decided to do that leave names out, its only polite after all.......
