WARNING ! Do Not Continue if FLESH WOUNDS make you queasy!

So right now you are probably thinking about reading my blog just because of the title. Then you see this seemingly harmless picture, looks kind of pretty.

Then there is my sunset picture, not bad looks harmless enough...
Here's a picture of the 4-wheelers and our tent. I was attempting to block out some of the wind while we were out camping....
Isn't it a beautiful tent? Or is it?

Now I realize had I had more foresight I would have taken a picture of my finger all blood and dirt and guts, but I didn't or maybe because it was actually really painful...

Its only a minor flesh wound nothing too spectacular. If you enlarge the photo you might notice that my nail is pulled up from the hand to nail direction...

So the question is....

What caused my injury? It occurred while attempting to set up that beautiful tent pictured above.

So was it....

Just myself?

The hammer?

The tent pole that was stuck and has seen better days?

Or the stake?

Would you believe it was a combination of all the above? Yes some how miss smarty pants here thought it would be a good idea to get the tent pole unstuck by taking a hammer and a stake to it... Yep that would be my luck to nearly take off my most used finger.... As for camping, it was cold and wet and it snowed a lot... We went Easter egg hunting twice, that was fun. I think my kids are going to think the Easter bunny comes 4-times in a week period by the time this next weekend hits. But what do you do?
