AC Discovery Village, Salem Oregon

Doctor Ipson at your service....

Because of all the rain we've had everything was flooding this is Austin taking a break on the big foot bridge by the Discovery Village.

Gavin watching the big tree's floating down the river...

Actually I'm screaming in joy because it was so fri'ggin cold with the wind. While Austin prepares for his break....

Our Safari boys presenting A- Tapir G- Iguana

My boys are so special in their little bubble...

Speaking of bubbles... There was a room in this house designated for blowing bubbles... Pretty awesome.

Mr. Gavin learning how to milk a cow...

Talk about being surrounded by bubbles, Austin got a real kick out of this activity.

The floating ball. I'm still impressed that they didn't touch the ball....

It seriously rained here so much that it went from the driest December to the wettest January they've had in 20 years . Its amazing how fast it comes in and then goes down. Its been a blast to be here, I won't lie the weather isn't all that bad, it rain's but not all the time. Its warm most of the time at least 50. The hiking here is great and I can't wait to get to go more when weather clears up for the boys sake. There is some amazing cultural museums around the area and lots of things for the kids to do. Its been good to experience it and to do things with out the help of family or friends, it helps you become more dependent on each other.

Its like I'm finding my inner peace at last. Maybe because Brandon has a good job with wonderful insurance (because we have insurance). I feel blessed and very grateful that we have been able to weather the storm and make it to this point. I pray that things continue in our favor and that it will continue to work out, but after the last 2 years I'm more cautious then optimistic with things now.
