Where to start? Well as you can tell we are not in Utah any more... guess that is as good as any place to begin. The last time I updated I talked about Brandon leaving to Oregon with out a clue as to what would really happen. Well as you can tell from the picture's we have now all officially moved to Oregon, but lets start near the beginning...
So Brandon left us in Utah to come to a job he wasn't certain about in Salem Oregon. He had no place to live, but the car. Which by the way yes he did live in the car for just over a week until we found some very nice people to take him in. So first off a big thanks with many hugs should go to the Wards here in Stayton for being so kind and loving.
Now I could go into all sorts of details on moving, but we shall skip to the good part. We are here and loving it! Everyday is new and challenging in different ways, I forgot how good it feels to be out of Utah and living so free from what is taken for-granted in Utah. I won't lie its not easy being away from everyone, but then again is anything worth while ever easy? We found a pre-school for Austin (at the United Methodist Church) Odd was what I though, however there is no in home pre-k schools here and its not affiliated with the church it just happens to be the location for it. School is quit challenging for him and the teacher says he's a little behind and lacks confidence in what he knows, here it is the learn fast approach or fall behind. We will play catch up and hopefully when Kindergarten starts we will be all caught up. I guess moving around in the last year hasn't helped much, but hopefully we will get some time here to be stable for a while.
Things have been fun with lots of adventure its just so different here from Utah its hard not to wrap yourself up in the beauty of it all and get lost for a time. I guess coming from high dessert that is mostly brown and murky, and coming to the lush green and clear water makes you just a little excited! As you can tell from the pictures Austin had a hard time judging the depth of some of the clear water holes. They didn't look so deep but once in very deceiving...
So things are working out for us finally after 2 long years of up and downs, we finally have stability in our lives. We moved into a twin home in Sublimity Oregon in hopes that holding onto our Monticello home will yield a sale by this summer. So here's hoping! Well I'm extremely tired so hope all is well in the blogging world. Good night and enjoy the beautiful photos!
